Military Communications

ARA provides VHF, UHF, and L/S/C single and multiband antennas as part of our Line of Sight (LOS) military communication antenna product line. These antennas have been used for well-known programs such as SINCGARS, EPLRS, JTRS, and WIN-T. ARA can integrate a variety of filters, LNAs and components into our rugged antennas for custom communication systems. We also provide antennas for UAV applications.

ARA supports UHF and MUOS satellite communication networks with low, medium and high-gain foldable antennas for tactical and fixed site applications. Our SATCOM antennas are rugged, durable, and can be quickly deployed in the most demanding conditions. These antennas feature an innovative mounting system that allows the user to select from a variety of tripods, magnets, ground stakes, and folding pistol grips to meet the specific requirements of their application. Our vehicular system includes a rugged X-Wing antenna that is made from reinforced, injection molded polymer - an industry exclusive.

For military GPS applications, ARA offers its FRPA Series antennas. The FRPA-3 is a low-profile antenna with a unique feed design, which makes it suitable for rugged applications. FRPA antennas meet or exceed environmental conditions specified in MIL-E-5400 for use with military systems or ARINC743 for use on commercial and business aircrafts. FRPA antennas cover both L1 and L2 GPS bands.
